FAA DAR Aircraft Certification

Sterling Pacific Corporation is a consulting company that provides a variety of aviation technical services, FAA DAR Airworthiness certification, flight, and aircraft appraisal services.  Our mission is to provide exceptional service in the area of aircraft certification, technical, flight, and appraisal services worldwide while maintaining client budgetary constraints with a commitment to excellence in quality and efficiency.  The entire staff and all associates are seasoned world travelers who understand the necessity of a timely response to complex problems associated with aircraft certification and technical issues.

Sterling Pacific was founded by Don Couch in 1994 with the desire to serve the aviation financial community during the delivery/redelivery process.  Mr. Couch was joined by Neil Emory some years later with a compliment of skills. To date both Mr. Couch and Mr. Emory hold certification as FAA Maintenance DARs; both are certified by the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) as certified appraisers. While Mr. Couch’s background is in technical services and leasing Mr. Emory has a background in legal and operations holding a transport pilots rating.  The company retains two airline captains on an on-call basis. We work in association with several experienced professionals of differing technical disciplines to complement our team when additional staff is required to meet project requirements.
